eNewsletter #001Introducing Wessex Filling Station

Welcome to the first eNewsletter introducing you to this new faith initiative for the BH postcode conurbation.

Wessex Filling Station is a new monthly, midweek, cross-denominational celebration styled meeting with a keynote speaker of worth. Its purpose is to encourage, empower and enrich peoples knowledge and experience of God through praise, worship and the spoken Word of God throughout Christchurch | Bournemouth and Poole.

Wessex Filling Station is part of The Filling Station Trust. The trust was set up by Revd. Richard Fothergill ten years ago after he became involved with a local unity meeting which grew exponentially. The Wessex Filling Station will be the 91st 'filling station' to be set up in the UK and Richard has spoken widely at Conferences and meetings of its generic growth and how God is using it as a new informal way of expressing the Christian faith. The Filling Station Trust also has a national supported prayer team interceding for the nation at this time. They have been praying for 3 years for the opportunity to set-up and support a filling station in the BH postcode conurbation.
